- Dinny (AC Self-Insert)
A student mycologist on Farway Museum's payroll, Dinny arrived in Rosaria with Blathers and Celeste to assist in the establishment of the museum's rural wing - this area was rich with fossils to be excavated, free of light pollution and suitable for an observatory, and harbored strange fungi never before seen anywhere else.
Dinny is the only human currently residing in the village, having given up on life among her own kind. She possesses no grand life aspirations and merely wishes to enjoy a peaceful life, free of worries and responsibilities. She has a somewhat abrasive personality and mean-spirited sense of humor.
Her friendship group consists of Victoria, Tipper and Pashmina - the foursome dubbed "The Barnyard Gang" by the other residents. She is romantically interested in the washed-up rock star, Static the squirrel.
Appearance
A female human of about average
height and weight. Straight dark brown hair is cut into a simple
shoulder-length bob with straight bangs. Angular, cool grey eyes
appear perpetually half-lidded. Her usual outfit consists of a
plain black three-quarter sleeve shirt, triangle-cut poncho and
cargo pants tucked into hiking boots. She normally wears large
gold hoops in her ears and a rainbow feather in her hair. Even
when she's wearing other clothes she seems to prefer practical
dress suited for moving about outdoors.
Other Trivia
> Established a side-business selling hallucinogenic mushrooms
upon discovering psilocybes were plentiful in Rosaria's pine
forests. Sometimes ingests these herself, usually in a tea.
