Story
A young acolyte, follower of Denizen, god of the grave. Abandoned as an infant on the outskirts of a farming hamlet, Stavroula had an extremely modest upbringing. Though she found herself initiated into the church by life circumstance rather than choice, she finds herself genuinely drawn to Denizen's teachings and the path of a Grave cleric. She serves under her mentor Father Uvier at the Temple of the Pantheon, a one-of-a-kind cathedral that caters to every god recognized in Glade's pantheon and is a site of frequent pilgrimage. Her vocation involves embalming and providing funerary rites. Her name was given to her by her adoptive mother, Mother Saryl Kyari - the other temple children found this name unwieldy and had taken to calling her "Stinky". She seems to have accepted this name and even introduces herself as such.
At the age of 19 she was provided with the opportunity to complete her acolyte training and become ordained. For this final test, her mentor tasked her with recovering a stolen wagon of taxes and then accompanying the dust primordian scion, Rikkard LeRou, on an expidition into a largely unexplored ruin to recover valuables. Unfortunately, one of the relics recovered was a Shard of Creation: a rare object said to be created at the birth of the universe. This discovery threatened to destabilize the land politically, and so Stavroula and her friends left Fenside for the nation's capital city of Silgate.
Personality
Stavroula would be described by others as both "well-meaning and friendly" and "exceptionally dull-witted". Though she can read and write in two languages (common and infernal) she does not appear motivated by intellectual pursuits and would rather play or read pictorial tomes. She has a cheerful demeanor and rarely appears downcast. From early childhood this satyr possessed courage several times larger than her small body, entering known dangerous places without a care and barely flinching at threats. She seemed similarly inured to feelings of sadness, with everything from scraped elbows to serious bullying sliding off her. Even her closest loved ones have only ever seen her shed tears over hilariously inconsequential things (such as having her legs shorn, which she hates), cementing a reputation as someone who never cries.
