The protagonist (Fuuta) encounters a girl (Kouko) who has regained past-life memories and declares she must kill Fuuta to fulfil a karmic debt. In order to break this cycle of hatred and destruction, Fuuta is required to meditate on his many past lives. In doing so, he comes to understand the complexity of the cycle, the nature of human life and the bonds between him and his loved ones that extend across time, space and categorization.
